I don't think the next generation is going to be able to afford a home soon. I read an article a while ago about investment firms buying up single family homes and this is driving the price up. It's obviously a way to manipulate the market and cash in. Incomes are not rising as fast as inflation, so what are they going to do?
That and airbnb. Blackrock is the hedge fund buying them. Some communities are pushing back, but good luck going up against one of the most powerful companies in the world.
The government is lying to us at an unbelievable level. When the news says inflation is down, they aren't talking about prices, they are referring to the rate of inflation. Prices are still going up and up... If the rate drops by 25% as an example, from 8% to 6%, prices are still rising, just not quite as fast. It's all lies.... Corporate greed a long with the government handing out billions of dollars to the extreme wealthy will eventually ruin everything. We are headed to 3rd world status. The super rich, and the poor.
